Run Timed Backup

Hansa contains a timed back-up feature whereby a database back-up file can be created automatically every day. To specify when the back-up files are to be created, and where they are to be stored, use the Timed Operations setting in the Technics module as described here.

This function can be used to create a database back-up immediately, naming and saving the file according to the specifications entered in the Timed Operations setting. It will not create a back-up file if you have not specified a Backup Path in the Timed Operations setting.

In multi-user systems, this function can be used from a client machine: it is the only way to create a 'Database Text Backup' from a client. It is recommended that it is run when no other client is logged on to the server.
