Operations Menu - Contract - Update Contract Status

This page describes the 'Update Contract Status' function on the Operations menu in the Contract record window. If you are using iOS or Android, the 'Update Contract Status' function is on the Tools menu (with 'wrench' icon).

The 'Update Contract Status' function allows you to create a record in the Contract Status register that refers to the Contract you are looking at. You can then open the Contract Status record from the Contract using the 'Open Contract Status' function. If you change important information in the Contract (e.g. the Customer), you can also use this function to update the corresponding Contract Status record. Contract Status records will be not created or updated automatically from Contracts, so you will need to use this function if you will use the Contract Status register.
