Introduction to the Stock Module

In this module deliveries to and from stock are recorded.

The Stock module interacts with the Sales and Purchase Orders modules, with the Sales Ledger, the Job Costing and Production modules and the Nominal Ledger. The Delivery register is always updated from the Sales Orders module, and Goods Receipts can be created from the Purchase Orders module, if it is installed.

All shipments in and out of stock are recorded as transactions in the Stock module. In addition and if required, Hansa can automatically update stock valuations in the Nominal Ledger. Stock can be kept in different and independent Locations. Several reports give information about the contents and value of your stock.
