Introduction to the Working Environment in Standard ERP

When you create a database or open an existing one, the Standard ERP desktop will appear, with the Navigation Centre in the centre of the screen. You can use the icons in this panel as shortcuts to different parts of the program.

You can carry out most operations in Standard ERP using up to three different methods:

• Selecting an option from a menu
  

• Clicking a button in the Navigation Centre panel
  

• Using a keyboard command

Use the method you feel most comfortable with. In the beginning you may find it easiest to select from menus or from the Navigation Centre, but when you get more used to the program, you will find the keyboard commands faster to work with.
