Blocks
A block is a setting that can only contain a single record. Blocks do not have browse windows. Some blocks contain a single record (e.g.
Account Usage S/L), while others contain a single record with a number of rows (e.g.
Payment Modes and
VAT Codes). A report that prints information in a block has a different construction to one based on a register or setting, and different techniques are required, depending on whether the block is a multi-row block.
