The Report Window - Searching in Reports

A useful function built in to every report in Books by HansaWorld when you print to screen is the ability to search for a text string in a report. The search string can contain any sequence of letters and digits occurring in the report.

In this example you might want to search for the General Ledger Transaction resulting from Invoice 210005. Enter "210005" into the Search field on the right of the Button Bar and press the Return or Enter key. The first text string in the report that matches the search string will be highlighted. Press the Enter key again to find the next match.
