Export Functions in the System module - Run Timed Backup

Books by HansaWorld contains a timed back-up feature whereby a database text back-up file can be created automatically every day. To specify when the back-up files are to be created, and where they are to be stored, use the Timed Operations setting in the Technics module. For full details, please refer to the Automatic Timed Back-ups page.

You can use this function if you need to create a database text back-up immediately, naming and saving the file according to the specifications entered in the Timed Operations setting. It will not create a back-up file if you have not specified a Backup Path in the Timed Operations setting.

In multi-user systems, you can use this function from a client machine: it is the only way to create a 'Database Text Backup' from a client. It is recommended that you use it when no other client is logged on to the server.
