Performance Factors

One method of evaluating the performance of your Employees is to use Performance Appraisals. In the Performance Appraisal register, an Interviewer can periodically record ratings for various Performance Appraisal Factors for each Employee.

You can use the Performance Factors setting to construct a list of skills and attributes that Interviewers will then be able to use as a look-up table when entering Performance Appraisals.

To open the Performance Factors setting, first ensure you are in the Human Resources Management module. Then, if you are using Windows or Mac OS X, click the [Settings] button in the Navigation Centre or use the Ctrl-S/⌘-S keyboard shortcut and then double-click 'Performance Factors' in the 'Settings' list. If you are using iOS or Android, select 'Settings' from the Tools menu (with 'wrench' icon) and tap 'Performance Factors' in the 'Settings' list. The 'Performance Factors: Browse' window will open, listing the Performance Factors that you have previously entered.

To enter a new Performance Factor, select 'New' from the Create menu (Windows/Mac OS X) or the + menu (iOS/Android) in the Button Bar. The 'Performance Factor: New' window appears: enter a Code and Name as appropriate and click [Save] (Windows/Mac OS X) or tap √ (iOS/Android) to save the new record.
