Email Validation Status

The Standard ID is a unique identifier for each Person that they can use to log in to your Standard ERP system and to log in to services provided by HansaWorld, such as your My Standard page, which you can use to monitor and control your server if it is located in the cloud, and the support forum.

A user's Standard ID must be a valid email address. When the user logs in to your Standard ERP system for the first time, an email address validation mail will be sent to the email address that they are using as their Standard ID. The user should follow the link in the validation mail to confirm that their email address is valid and to enter a Standard ID password.

If a user is a Global User, their Standard ID will be stored in their Global User record. Otherwise, it will be stored in their Person record.

The Email Validation Status report allows you to check that every user's Standard ID has been validated. The report shows each user's Signature, Name, Standard ID and validation status. If a Standard ID has not been validated, there will also be a [Resend Email validation] text button that you can use to send a reminder email address validation mail to the user.

To produce the report, ensure you are in the Email and Conferences module and open the 'Reports' list. Double-click (Windows/Mac OS X) or tap (iOS/Android) 'Email Validation Status' in the list and, when the 'Specify Email Validation Status' window opens, click or tap the [Run] button.
