Deleting a Price List

You can delete a Price List at any time. Follow these steps:
  1. Ensure you are in the Pricing module using the [Switch Module] button in the Navigation Centre and open the Price List register from the [Registers] button, also in the Navigation Centre.

  2. In the 'Price Lists: Browse' window, find the Price List you want to remove, and open it by double-clicking (Windows/Mac OS X) or tapping (iOS/Android).

  3. Select 'Delete' from the Record menu (which has a 'cog' icon if you are using iOS or Android).

The Price List will be removed permanently, and the window will now show the preceding Price List.

  4. Close the window using the close box (Windows/Mac OS X) or by tapping < (iOS/Android).

!

You cannot undo the deletion of a Price List.

When you delete a Price List in this way, the related records in the Price register or in the Quantity Dependent Prices setting will not be deleted. If you want to delete these as well, run the 'Delete Prices' Maintenance function in the Pricing module:

Price List
Paste Special    Price List register, Pricing module
Specify the Price List whose Prices or Quantity Dependent Prices are to be deleted.

Item
Paste Special    Item register
If you need to delete the Price and Quantity Dependent Price records relating to a particular Item, specify that Item here.

Item Group
Paste Special    Item Group register
If you need to delete the Price and Quantity Dependent Price records relating to the Items belonging to a particular Item Group, specify that Item Group here.

Only closed items
Select this option if you want to delete the Price and Quantity Dependent Price records relating to Items that have been marked as Closed.

!

Be careful using this function. If you run it with all three fields empty, every record in the Price register and in the Quantity Dependent Prices setting will be deleted.
