User Def. Field Labels - Project Managers

This page describes the User Def. Field Labels - Project Managers setting in the Job Costing module.

---

The User Def. Field Labels - Project Managers setting allows you to change the names of the Project Managers that are displayed on the 'Members' card of the Project record window.

To work with this setting, first use the [Switch Module] button in the Navigation Centre to ensure you are in the Job Costing module. Then, if you are using Windows or macOS, click the [Settings] button, also in the Navigation Centre and then double-click 'User Def. Field Labels - Project Managers' in the resulting list. If you are using iOS or Android, select 'Settings' from the Tools menu (with 'wrench' icon) and tap 'User Def. Field Labels - Project Managers' in the 'Settings' list. The 'User Def. Field Labels - Project Managers: Inspect' window opens. Make changes as required and then click the [Save] button (Windows/macOS) or tap √ (iOS/Android) in the Button Bar to save changes and close the window (you may need to restart Standard ERP to see the changes take effect). Click the close box if you do not want to save changes (Windows/macOS) or tap < (iOS/Android).

When the fields in the 'User Def. Field Labels - Project Managers: Inspect' window are empty, Project Managers will be numbered from 1 to 5 on the 'Members' cards of the Project record window:

You can label fields using more precise job titles so that every user will know what to type into each one. Enter the job titles in the User Def. Field Labels - Project Managers setting:

The result will be that the 'Members' card of each Project record will look like this:

You may need to restart Standard ERP before the changes that you make in this setting will take effect. In a multi-user system, you only need restart the client application, not the server.
