User Login History

This page describes the User Login History report in the System module.

The User Login History report in the System module is a list of all log-in and log-out events (including failed log-in events) during a specified period.

Period
Paste Special    Reporting Periods setting, System module
The report will list the log-in and log-out events that occurred during the period that you specify here.

Person
Paste Special    Person register, System module and Global User register, Technics module
If you need the report to list the log-in and log-out events for a particular user, enter their Signature here.

Logged into Company
Paste Special    Company register
Enter a Company Number here if you need the report to list the log-in and log-out events for a particular Company.

Users in Company
Paste Special    Company register
If you have selected the Have Not option below, you can enter a Company Number here if you need to list users with access to a particular Company who have not logged in or out of that Company during the report period.

Client Type
Paste Special    Choices of possible entries
Specify a Client Type if you need to list log-in and log-out events by users with a particular type of machine or connection (e.g. live connection, live-sync connection or web connection).

Client OS
Paste Special    Choices of possible entries
Specify a Client OS if you need to list log-in and log-out events by users with machines with a particular operating system.

Include Users That
If you have left the Person field above empty, you can use the Have or Have Not options to specify that the report should list users that have or have not logged in and/or out during the report period.

If you choose the Have Not option, a Global User will only be included in the report if they have not logged in to any Company during the report period.

Sort By
If you have selected the Have option above, select one of these options to specify how the log-in and log-out events will be listed in the report, as follows:

Per User
Events will be listed by user and then chronologically (with each user having separate sections in the report).

Chronologically
Events will be listed chronologically (each user may have more than one section depending on how often they have logged in/out and on when those events occurred in relation to other users).
