Restaurant Item Statistics
This page describes the Restaurant Item Statistics report in the Restaurant module.

The Restaurant Item Statistics report the Items sold through Bar Tabs over a specified period
Figures in the report will include VAT or tax if you have specified in the Account Usage Restaurant setting that Base Prices include VAT or tax. Only Bar Tabs that have been finished will be included in the statistics.

- Specify the period to be covered by the report. The report will contain statistics compiled from finished Bar Tabs entered during the period specified here.

- If you need to report on the Items sold during a particular time period or shift, specify that shift here. For example, if you report on the morning shift and the report period is one week, the report will list the Items sold during the morning shift on each day in that week.
- If you would like the report to contain separate sections for each shift, select the Per Shift option below.

- If you need the report to display the sales statistics of a particular Item, specify its Item Number here. You can also enter a range of Item Numbers separated by a colon (:).
- Item Classification

- If you need the report to display the sales statistics of Items with a particular Item Classification, specify that Item Classification here. If you enter a number of Classifications separated by commas, only sales of Items featuring all the Classifications listed will be included in the report.
- Item Groups

- If you need the report to list the sales statistics of Items belonging to a particular Item Group, specify that Item Group here.
- Local Machine

- If you need to report on the Items sold on a particular till or device, enter the Local Machine Code of that till or device here.
- Local Machine Group

- If you need to report on the Items sold on the tills and devices that belong to a particular Local Machine Group, enter that Local Machine Group here.

- To limit the report to Bar Tabs entered by a single waiter, enter their Signature here.
- Function
- Use these options to specify whether the report should contain statistics for each Item Group or for each Item.

- By default, the report will simply list the Item Groups or Items (depending on the Function option above that you choose). Select the Per Shift option if you would like the report to contain separate sections for each shift (as defined in the Daily Statistics setting):
The "To Hotel" column not used in the reports illustrated above will show sales values calculated from Bar Tabs that have been assigned to hotel room accounts (usually using the
"On Hotel Guest Account" and
"Show Hotel Guests' buttons). These sales will also be included in the "Qty" column but not the "In Bar" column.
