Row Menu - Production - Open Batch Specification

This page describes the 'Open Batch Specification' function on the Row menu in the Production record window. If you are using iOS or Android, the 'Open Batch Specification' function is on the Tools menu (with 'wrench' icon).

---

When you mark a Production as Finished and save, a separate record will be created in the Batch Specifications setting for every row containing an Output Item with a Serial Number and Best Before date. If a row contains an Input Item with a Serial Number, that Serial Number may already have a Batch Specification record from when you received it into stock. This function allows you to view one of those Batch Specification records.

First, place the insertion point in a Production row that has a Serial Number (and Best Before date if the row contains an Output Item). Then open the Row menu by right-clicking (Windows) or Ctrl-clicking (macOS) the row number. When the Row menu opens, select 'Open Batch Specification'. If you are using iOS or Android, select 'Open Batch Specification' from the Tools menu (with 'wrench' icon). The Batch Specification record will be opened in a new window.
