Nationality Statistics

This page describes the Nationality Statistics report in the Hotel module.

The Nationality Statistics report provides statistics about the nationalities of the Guests staying in the hotel. This information is taken from the Nationality field on the 'Guest' card in each Guest record, which is connected to the Countries setting in the System module. To ensure that the report is comprehensive, it is recommended that you select the Request when Checking In, Request No. of Guests on Reservations and Force Nationality on Guest Record options in the Hotel Settings setting. These options will help ensure that all Guests are listed in Reservations and that all Guests have nationalities.

Period
Paste Special    Reporting Periods setting, System module
The report will display the number of Guests of each nationality who checked in during the period that you specify here.

Function
Three versions of the report are available:

Per Country
This report lists the number of Guests of each nationality who checked in during the period:

Per Region
This report lists the number of Guests from each Country Region who checked in during the period:

This version of the report uses the Region field in each record in the Countries setting (in the System module).

Detailed
This report lists the number of Guests of each nationality who checked in during the period with subtotals for each Region:

The statistics in the report will be compiled from all Reservations including those in which the Status Type is Unconfirmed or Normal (not checked in) (i.e. the report will include Guests in Reservations that are enquiries). The one exception is that Guests in Reservations in which the Status Type is Cancelled will not be included.
