Entering Companies

If you have been working with a Books by HansaWorld database for some time and need to change or add to the information in the Company register, ensure you are in the System module and click the [Companies] button in the 'Registers' section of the Master Control panel.

You can add new Companies at any time, but remember that doing so will mean that you will need to go through the registration procedure to apply for a new Enabler Key. Before adding a new Company, remember to update the Number of Companies in the Configuration setting. Full details can be found in the 'Adding a Second Company' section on the Companies page.

For security reasons, Books by HansaWorld will shut down after any changes or additions have been made in the Companies setting. It will restart automatically to allow you to continue working.
