Newspaper List

This page describes the Newspaper List report in the Hotel module.

The Newspaper List report is a list of the newspapers required by each Room on a specified Date. This information is taken from the Newspapers field on the 'Check In/Out' card in each Reservation.

To be included in the report, a Reservation must meet the following criteria:

  • It must be current on the specified date.

  • If it is checking in on the specified date, it will only be included in the report if the Check In Time is before 07:00.

  • If it is checking out on the specified date, it will only be included in the report if the Check Out Time is after 07:00.

  • The Newspapers field on the 'Check In/Out' card must not be blank.

  • It must have a Normal (not checked in) or Normal (checked in) Status. If you are using the Include Unconfirmed in Overbookings option in the Hotel Settings setting, Unconfirmed Reservations will also be included.

  • It must have a Room Number, so Normal (not checked in) and Unconfirmed Reservations without Room Numbers will not be included.

Specify the date for which you need to see a list of required newspapers. You must specify a date, otherwise the report will be empty.
