Operations Menu - Project Transaction - Open Connected Register

This page describes the 'Open Connected Register' function on the Operations menu in the 'Project Transaction: Inspect' window. If you are using iOS or Android, the 'Open Connected Register' function is on the Tools menu (with 'wrench' icon).

Every Project Transaction will have been created by marking a record in another register as OK and saving. The 'Open Connected Register' function allows you to view the originating record from a Project Transaction.

When you select the function from the Operations menu (Windows/macOS) or Tools menu (iOS/Android), the originating record will be opened in a new window.

You can use Access Groups to prevent certain users from opening originating records from Project Transactions. To do this, deny them access to the 'Open Register from Project Transaction' Action.
