Service Stock Transaction Journal
This page describes the Service Stock Transaction Journal report in the Service Orders module.

The Service Stock Transaction Journal report is a chronological listing of the records entered in the Service Stock Transaction register during the specified period. It is thus effectively a listing of movements in to and out of your workshop. You can control the selection to show a range of Service Stock Transactions or those relating to a particular Customer.

- Enter a Service Stock Transaction Number or a range of Numbers here if you would like specific Service Stock Transactions to be shown in the report.
- Period
- Paste Special
Reporting Periods setting, System module
- Enter the start and end dates of the report period. The report will list Service Stock Transactions with Dates that fall in the period specified here. The default period is the first record entered in the Reporting Periods setting.
- Customer
- Paste Special
Customers in Contact register
- Enter a Customer Number here if you need to list the Service Stock Transactions relating to a particular Customer.
- Employee
- Paste Special
Person register, System module and Global Users register, Technics module
- Enter a Person's Signature here if you need the report to list the Service Stock Transactions for which that Person is responsible.
- Serv. Order No.
- Paste Special
Service Order register, Service Orders module
- Range Reporting Numeric
- Enter a Service Order Number or a range of Numbers here if you need to list Service Stock Transactions relating to particular Service Orders.
- Function
- Use these options to determine the level of detail shown in the report.
- Overview
- The Overview option produces a simple list, showing for each Service Stock Transaction the Transaction Number, the Date, the Customer Name and the Service Order Number.
- Detailed
- In addition to the information shown in the Overview, this option shows the Person and Customer Number and Contact. It will also list each row of a Service Stock Transaction, the Item Code, In and Out Quantities, Cost and Sales Prices and Serial Number will be shown.
- Status
- Use these options to specify whether the report should include Service Stock Transactions that have been marked as OK, Service Stock Transactions that have not been marked as OK or both. You must select at least one option otherwise the report will be empty.
