In Standard ERP, the term "Project" is virtually interchangeable with "Job": it refers to an undertaking requiring the completion of a number of tasks. For example, a particular Project might be the installation of a multi-room entertainment system. In addition to the installation of the cabling, remote control system and speakers, tasks required by this Project might include surveying the building, ascertaining the requirements of the Customer and possibly producing a report.Before you can start recording the details of the Project itself, you will need to enter information in a number of other registers, including the following:
