Introduction to the HansaWorld Enterprise Working Environment

When you create a database or open an existing one, the HansaWorld Enterprise desktop will appear, with the Master Control panel in the centre of the screen. You can use the icons in this panel as shortcuts to different parts of the program.

You can carry out most operations in HansaWorld Enterprise using up to three different methods:

• Selecting an option from a menu
  

• Clicking a button in the Master Control panel
  

• Using a keyboard command

Use the method you feel most comfortable with. In the beginning you may find it easiest to select from menus or from the Master Control panel, but when you get more used to the program, you will find the keyboard commands faster to work with.
