Time Billing Price Formulae, Time Billing Price Lists, Time Classes - Time Classes

You should enter as many Time Classes as you have different charge-out rates. For example, you might have different time Classes for standard, evening, weekend and holiday rates.

To define a new Time Class, first move into the Job Costing module using the Modules menu. Then click [Settings] in the Master Control panel or select 'Settings' from the File menu. Double-click 'Time Classes' in the resulting list and click [New]. Once entered, click [Save] to save the record.

Complete the Code and Description as appropriate. The Description is shown in the 'Paste Special' list: it should therefore be descriptive enough to make the selection of the correct Time Class easy for all users.

The remaining fields and check boxes are used for information only: they are not used to control when the Time Class might be used. The Start and End Times are not used in the Job Costing module, but instead are used by the Activities Period report in the CRM module.
