Project Quotation/Budget
This report has three options: it can be a list of
Project Budget records, a list of
Quotation records or a comparison between the two.
- Period

Reporting Periods setting, System module
- The report period: Project Budgets or Quotations whose Transaction Dates fall within this period will be included in the report. Budgets and Quotations whose Transaction Dates are blank will also be included.

- Specify here the Projects whose Budgets or Quotations are to be covered by the report.
- Customer
- Paste Special
Customers in Customer register
- Range Reporting Alpha
- Specify here the Customers whose Budgets or Quotations are to be included in the report. This relates to the Customers specified in the Budget or Quotation records themselves, not those in the parent Projects.
- Class
- Paste Special
Project Classes setting, Job Costing module
- If you enter a Project Class, all Projects belonging to that Class will have their Budgets or Quotations included in the report.
- Object
- Paste Special
Object register, System module
- If you enter an Object, all Projects with that Object will have their Budgets or Quotations included in the report. If you enter a number of Objects separated by commas, only those Projects featuring all the Objects listed will be included in the report calculation.
- Function
- Use these options to control the level of detail shown in the report.
- Overview
- This version of the report contains a single line for each Project Budget or Quotation, showing the total quantity, sales value, cost and gross profit.
- Detailed
- This uses a similar format to the Overview, but has separate figures for each Budget or Quotation row. It also has subtotals for time, purchases, materials and Stocked Items.
- Comparison
- This version of the report compares Budget and Quotation sales values on an Item-by-Item basis.
- Specify
- If you are producing an Overview or Detailed report, use these options to choose whether Project Budgets or Quotations are to be listed.
