Entering a Customer - Contact Card
- Inv. Address
- Used as default in
Sales Invoices
- Enter here the address to which Sales Invoices, statements and Payments are to be sent.
- Sort Key
- This field can be used in countries where a post code, zip code or other area code appears on a separate line in an address. This can be made to appear on the standard Forms (Invoice, Delivery Note, etc).
- Changed Date
- This field is updated automatically by FirstOffice whenever any modification is made to the Customer record on screen.
- Attn.
- Paste Special
Contact Person register, Sales Support module
- Used as default in Sales Orders, Sales Invoices
- You can enter the name of your main contact person here: it will be transferred as a default entry whenever this Customer record is used in a transaction. The 'Paste Special' selection list will only show contact names for the Customer in question (identified by Customer Number).
- Telephone, Fax, Mobile, Email, Skype Name
- Enter the company's main telephone, mobile and fax numbers, email address and Skype name here. You should enter extensions, direct line and mobile numbers, e-mail addresses and Skype Names for each contact in the Contact Person register in the Sales Support Module.
- If you need to contact the company and you are using Windows, click the [Communicate] button in the Button Bar:
- The following window opens, containing the company's contact details:
- Subject to your computer or network having the suitable connection software and hardware, click on a contact method in the list on the left, and then click the appropriate button on the right. The Skype application will be started automatically, allowing you to call using Skype or SkypeOut (if you clicked on a telephone number). A new Activity window will also be opened, allowing you to record the details of the call or contact immediately.
