Delivery Terms

In this setting you can enter the different shipping terms you wish to use, such as FOB (Free On Board) and CIF (Cost, Insurance, Freight). Usually these will be used for international Customers, and are specified on the 'Delivery' card of each Customer record. This default can be overidden for individual Orders using the field on the 'Del Terms' card of the Order screen.

The 'Delivery Terms: Browse' window lists the available Delivery Terms: double-click to modify or click [New] to create a new item.

Enter a code and a short descriptive text for each Delivery Term. The code may contain up to five characters, and you may freely mix letters and numbers.

The table can be used to enter various translations of the Delivery Term text, which will be printed on shipping documentation printed from Orders. Specify a Language in the first column using 'Paste Special' if necessary, and the appropriate translation in the second column. There is no need to enter a row for your home Language.

If a Language has been entered for the Order, that will determine which translation will be printed. If no Language is specified, the text entered in the Comment field will be printed.

The Customs Declaration options are used by the Customs module: please refer to your local Hansa representative for details.

Confirm the entry by clicking [Save].
