The Currency is taken from the 'Company' card of the Supplier record or from the Default Base Currency (defined in the Base Currency setting in the System module) and is shown at the bottom of the window. If it came from the Supplier record, it cannot be changed. Otherwise, any other Currency can be substituted if necessary. The conversion rates are shown on the 'Currency' card, in the same fashion as described for the Sales Invoice. All figures should be entered in Currency (i.e. as they appear on the hard copy sent from the Supplier). If a Nominal Ledger Transaction is created from the Purchase Invoice when it is approved, the figures when transferred to that Transaction will be converted to the home Currency using the conversion rates specified. |
