Clean Up Mail Registers - Removing Mail Automatically
You can choose to have the
'Clean Up Mail Registers' function run regularly and automatically. To do this, open the Timed Operations setting in the Technics module:
Specify a time in the Operation Time field (using the 24 hour clock) and check the Mail Cleanup box. The
'Clean Up Mail Registers' function will be run automatically at that time every day, providing the server is running. If you use this facility, you must make sure a maximum number of Mails and/or a maximum age has been specified in the
Mail and Conference Settings setting, if not for the individual
Mailboxes and
Conferences. Otherwise, no Mails will be deleted. In the illustration, it has been determined that both backing up and removing old Mail will take place automatically every day.
