Designing a report includes specifying the Accounts that will be used in the calculations as well as changing the appearance and format of the report. The design of a report is known as the "definition" of the report in Standard ERP. The reports for which this facility is available are the Balance Sheet, Cash Flow report, Key Financial Ratios, Profit & Loss Report and VAT Report. As well as designing these reports yourself, you can create as many versions of each report as you need. You will use the Report Settings setting in the Nominal Ledger to change the definition of a report and to add a new report definition. To use this setting, ensure you are in the Nominal Ledger and click (Windows/macOS) or tap (iOS/Android) the [Settings] button in the Navigation Centre. Then, double-click or tap 'Report Settings' in the subsequent list. The 'Report Settings' window will open. To change the definition of a report, highlight the report name in the list on the left-hand side of the window and click or tap the [Definition] button. Please refer to the pages describing the Balance Sheet, Cash Flow report, Key Financial Ratios, Profit & Loss Report and VAT Report definitions for details about defining these reports and about creating new report definitions. When you have finished working with the 'Report Settings' window, close it by clicking the close box.
