Entering an Employee record - Personal Card

The fields on the 'Personal' card are provided for the purpose of storing personal information about an Employee. Except where detailed below, the fields are self-explanatory and are not used elsewhere in Standard ERP.
- Birthday
- Paste Special
Choose date
- Enter the Employee's date of birth here.
- You can use the Birthday List report in the CRM module to print a list of Employees and/or Contact Persons with a birthday on a particular day. If you print the report to screen, it will contain a [Create Reminder in Day Planner] text button. Click or tap this text to create an Activity to remind you to call or mail the Employee or Contact Person on their birthday. The Activity will appear in the right-hand panel of the your Day Planner on the appropriate day.

- Use 'Paste Special' to choose the Employee's Country of Birth.
- Nationality
- Paste Special

- Use 'Paste Special' to choose the Employee's Nationality.
- Ethnicity
- Paste Special
Ethnicities setting, Human Resources Management module
- Use 'Paste Special' to choose the Employee's Ethnicity.
- You can use the Head Count report to produce a break-down by Ethnicity of your Employees.
- Health Status
- Paste Special
Health Statuses setting, Human Resources Management module
- Use 'Paste Special' to choose the Employee's Health Status. You can enter several Health Statuses, separated by commas. To record further details, use the Health Issues text field immediately below.
- Gender
- Use these options to specify the Employee's Gender.
- You can use the Head Count report to produce a break-down by Ethnicity of your Employees.
The Language field is not visible in the Employee window but it is visible in the Contact window (
'Company' card). If you have Employees who speak different Languages, you should specify the appropriate Language for each one before creating Employment Contracts. This will ensure that Employment Contracts are printed in the correct Language for each Employee, providing you have created separate Form Templates for each Language.
