Remove Classification from Contacts
This page describes the 'Remove Classification from Contacts" Maintenance function in the CRM module.

The 'Remove Classification from Contacts' function allows you to remove a Contact Classification from a selection of Contacts.
- Classification
- Paste Special
Contact Classifications setting, CRM module
- Specify the single Classification that is to be removed.
- If you want to remove more than one Classification, run the function as many times as necessary.
- Category
- Paste Special
Customer Categories setting, Sales Ledger
- If you specify a Customer Category here, the function will remove the Classification from all Contacts belonging to that Category.

Customers, Suppliers and Contact Persons in Contact register
- Range Reporting Alpha
- If you want to remove the Classification from a particular range of Contacts, specify that range here.
- By default, the Classification will only be removed from Customers in the range, not from Suppliers or Contact Persons. If you want to remove the Classification from other types of Contact as well, use the check boxes below. For example, use the Include Suppliers option to remove the Classification from Suppliers.
- Include Suppliers
- By default, the Classification will only be removed from Customers in the specified range. Use this option if you would like the Classification to be removed from Suppliers in the range as well.
- Include Contact Persons
- By default, the Classification will only be removed from Customers in the specified range. Use this option if you would like the Classification to be removed from Contact Persons in the range as well.
- Include Dealers
- By default, the Classification will only be removed from Customers in the specified range. Use this option if you would like the Classification to be removed from Dealers in the range as well.
Press the [Run] button to start the updating process.
You can also use the 'Update Customer Classification' Maintenance function in the Sales Ledger to remove a specified Classification from Contacts.
