Building a Web Page - Testing

Note: all the settings and registers mentioned are located in the Webshop and CMS module unless otherwise specified.

As you add pages to your website you should test them in a browser. Enter http://localhost:Web Port/Web_structure_name as the URL if you are using the Single User Server option or http://Server IP Address:Web Port/Web_structure_name as the URL if you are developing your website in your server from a client. Web_structure_name is the Web structure name from the Structure record component in the page.

In the special case of the home page, you can simply enter http://localhost:Web Port or http://Server IP Address:Web Port as the URL. You will automatically be redirected to the Start Node that you specified in the Sites setting. For example, if the Structure record with Web structure name "home" is the Start Node and if 1080 is the Web Port, you can enter http://localhost:1080 as the URL and you will be redirected to http://localhost:1080/home:
