The 'Nightly Maintenance' Maintenance function is a function that you should run daily to carry out various administrative tasks in the hotel. These tasks include:

Changing the Status of occupied Rooms to the Dirty Status specified in the Hotel Settings setting.
Updating Guest Accounts with Room charges, Package Items and Repetitive Items for the day.
Changing the Status of No Show Reservations to the No Show Status specified in the Hotel Settings setting.
Creating Work in Progress Transactions to record the day's uninvoiced sales in the Nominal Ledger.
Running the 'Cash Up' Maintenance function in the Restaurant and Point of Sales modules.
Creating cleaning Activities as instructions to cleaners.

If you select the options that you need in this setting, these options will be selected by default whenever you run the function, removing the need to select them individually every time.

Current Day +/-: When you run the 'Nightly Maintenance' function, you will need to specify the Date for which it is to be run. If you need the default for this Date to be a particular number of days before or after the current date, specify that number of days here.
WIP N/L Comment: If you need the 'Nightly Maintenance' function to create Work in Progress Transactions, specify here the Text that is to be copied to the Transactions.
