A Bank Holiday will not be charged for if it is listed in the record in the Bank Holidays setting for the Country specified in the Company Info setting and a day in the week will not be charged for if it has been marked as a non-working day in the same record (e.g. if you have ticked the Saturday box in the Bank Holidays record, Saturdays will not be charged for). The Bank Holidays setting is situated in the System module and in the Rental module and is described here. You can also choose not to charge for a Customer's Bank Holidays. These are holidays that are listed in the record for the Customer in the Customers' Bank Holidays setting or in the record in the Bank Holidays setting for the Country specified in the Contact record for the Customer (or, if there is no Country specified in the Contact record for the Customer or no record in the Bank Holidays setting for that Country, in the record in the Bank Holidays setting for the Country specified in the Company Info setting). In other words, the Customer-specific Bank Holidays and the standard Bank Holidays will not be charged for. A day in the week will not be charged for if it has been marked as a non-working day in the record for the Customer in the Customers' Bank Holidays setting. In other words, only the Customer-specific non-working days will not be charged for. Please refer here for details about calculating rental charges.
