Examples of these industries include shift workers in a factory, and bar staff in a restaurant or bar.In some cases employees can clock in and out at any time, and in other cases, only within planned shifts. The Timekeeper module in Standard ERP allows a company to keep track of the times that employees start and end work, and also to control the times that employees are allowed to clock in, using planned shifts. Within a specific shift, employees can clock in and out normally for events like lunch etc. These clock-in and clock-out activities are handled within the shift, and are reported on separately.
