If you are using iOS or Android, the 'Autofill Serial No' function is on the Tools menu (with 'wrench' icon).--- If you need to include Items with Serial Numbers at the Unit level in a Stock Transfer record, you must enter them on separate rows each with a quantity of one, to allow you to enter the Serial Numbers individually. The 'Autofill Serial No.' function is a shortcut that can help with this task. To use this function, first enter the Item Number of a Serial Numbered Item and the quantity in the first empty row. Move the insertion point out of the Qty field but keep it in the same row and open the Row menu by right-clicking (Windows) or ctrl-clicking (macOS) the row number. When the Row menu opens, select 'Autofill Serial No.'. If you are using iOS or Android, select 'Autofill Serial No.' from the Tools menu (with 'wrench' icon). The appropriate number of rows will be added, including suggested Serial Numbers in each one. The suggested Serial Numbers will be taken from stock in the From Location. For example, if you enter an Item Number together with a quantity of 10 in a row and then select this function, the quantity in the existing row will be changed to 1 and nine additional rows will be added. The function will have no effect when used in rows with Items that are not Serial Numbered at the Unit level. If you do not need the default Serial Numbers to be brought in and would prefer to select them yourself, follow the same process but select 'Split Serial No. Lines' from the Row menu instead. --- The Stock Transfer register in Standard ERP:
